Enjoy high-quality audio almost anywhere with the NW-A55 Walkman Digital Audio Player from Sony. When you're on the move, the A55 can stream High-Res Audio wirelessly via Bluetooth using the LDAC and aptX HD codecs. High-Res Audio is meant to offer greater fidelity, with bitrates that surpass that of CD audio. Your music can be played from the A55's built-in 16GB of storage, an (optional) microSD card (up to 2TB), or from your smartphone.

Even the physical construction of the A55 is meant to increase audio quality. Everything from the milled aluminum body and gold-plated circuit board, to the lead-free, gold-enhanced solder that's used to connect it all together. Noise Cancellation & Ambient Sound
On supported headphones, such as the Sony IER-NW500N/NE, the A55 Walkman can work with them to block out external sounds. They can also work together in Ambient Sound mode to let sound in when you need to hear your surroundings along with your music.
