The KMM-BT205 speakerphone supports the well-known functions for hands-free calling (HFP 1.6) and music streaming (A2DP) as well as the advanced music browsing profile AVRCP 1.5, which can also be used in A2DP mode to search for individual music on the mobile phone comfortably and specifically from the car radio. In addition, two phones can be paired with the car radio in parallel. This car radio not only refers to the playback of the popular audio formats MP3 and WMA, but also ensures powerful and undistorted sound with the high-quality audio codecs FLAC "Free Lossless Audio Codec" and WAV. The lack of an integrated CD drive has reduced the installation depth by more than 30% to only 100 millimetres. This means that these "Mechaless" car radios can also be used in vehicles with particularly limited installation space or for concealed installation e.g. in classic cars. The Kenwood Remote App makes compatible Android and Apple smartphones a comprehensive remote control for all Kenwood Bluetooth car radios. The app is controlled by large touch buttons for basic commands such as pause or title jump. The Kenwood Remote App is available for free in the Google Playstore and the App Store.
